The nursing aide just came and took Patrick’s temperature, it was normal for now.  The highest it was yesterday was 103.8, right before he was admitted.  Our pediatrician stopped by to check on him a little bit ago.  Apparently the antibiotics the ER doctor started yesterday will require Patrick to stay in the hospital until Saturday.  What a bummer, I thought we’d be able to go home today.  🙁

The good news is that they have bouncy chairs here.

Sorry so grainy, we have the lights down.

Patrick’s temperatures have been normal all day and he’s started to perk back up a bit.  He’s eating more and looks a little more lively than he has the past few days.  Our room is pretty comfortable and he is napping and watching a movie right now.  Elliott didn’t really notice the TV when he was a baby but Patrick enjoys watching it from time to time.  I think he’s a bit bored – we can’t really go anywhere since he’s tethered to his IV.

He is under the little green blanket just past the baby jail crib, watching his movie.  I could have definitely used a crib like that when Elliott was ~18 months old.  I’d like to see him escape that thing.
