Spring is upon us and in Phoenix that means we’re hitting temperatures in the 70’s and 80’s…so nice!
Let’s see, what else is new? Recently, Elliott’s girlfriend Emmie (from Kansas City) sent him a John Deere tractor for his birthday.
I sense a draft…hehehehe!
The best part about being 1 is that simple household objects, like plungers, become fun toys.
Still small enough to fit inside the toybox!
“I’m a happy kid!” (most of the time)
Elliott is making lots of new noises and trying to sound out new words. He also understands almost everything we say to him, but he doesn’t always comply with our requests. In the morning when he gets dressed, I ask him to bring me his shoes. He brings them to me and sits in my lap so I can put them on his feet. He LOVES shoes, any shoes. Now that he understands lots of words, but can’t say many words back to us, he gets really frustrated. We’ve started seeing a few toddler temper tantrums when he can’t get his way. Luckily they’ve been short so far. ET is also now 100% off bottles so every day he is becoming more of a “big boy.”
